“ My friends recommended this place for the best kebabs and dumplings (momos) in town, and I'm glad I tried it! I had the chilli momos, chicken momos, and tikka masala momos. The tikka masala momos were my favorite--so flavorful and creamy. I also ordered fried rice, veg chowmein, and potato chilli. The potato chilli was really tasty and crispy. The veg chowmein was a bit too spicy for me, even though I ordered medium spice--next time, I'll go for mild. If you love dumplings, you should definitely try this place! The food tastes very authentic. It's a BYOB spot with a simple setup of about 8-10 tables. Highly recommend! ”
“ Hands down the best Momo in DFW The 1st time I had it, I ordered them "spicy" because I enjoy spicy food but it came out way more spicier than expected so I suggest ordering everything "medium-spicy". On occasion, they have ran out of the Veggie Momo before closing, which is suggestive of how good they are! Must Try: Tikka Momo 10/10 Chili Momo 10/10 Other: Chow Mein 7/10 (on the drier side) ”
“ Great Food, great server, super friendly! We hosted a birthday here and they were over the top with their service! However, I'd like to see improvements made in their physical appearance and the cleanliness of the furniture. ”
“ We have to this famous whole in the wall Nepalese restaurants several times. Every time we have gone, we have not been disappointed. On this visit, we started with the Vegetable Samosas. They were fried perfectly with a wonderful potato filling. They were on the par with some of the best Samosas we have had in the past. We then tried several of the different Momos. We had the regular Chicken, Chili, and Tikka Masala Momos. They were all tasty with unique flavors. For our main dishes, we had Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biryani, and the Chow Mein. The rice in the Biryani dish was very flavorful. The Tikka Masala was smooth and creamy. The Chow Mein was a great fusion dish. The service was prompt, thr atmosphere was a whole in the wall, and the food was delicious. We will come back again. ”
“ I've always wanted to try Nepalese food and finally made it to Irving Kabab N Kurry after several recommendations and it did not disappoint. 5/5 Chicken Momos: Ofc I had to order the most famous Nepalese dish. These were super flavorful and delicious. I really enjoyed the sauce that came with it but I dipped mine in the Chicken Tikka and it was even better. 4/5 Chicken Tikka: Taste a little different than the Indian versions, but I like it! It was very creamy, sweet, and flavorful. I do wish that it came with rice, both rice and naan costs extra. 5/5 Sekuwa Chicken: One of the star dishes! The chicken was SO moist and the flavor was very deep and complex. I really liked the dry, toasted rice that it came with and the other side dishes. Overall, very authentic restaurant with amazing food. The portions were pretty generous for the price. Service was very friendly. I'll definitely be back! ”
“ Of the 4 Nepali restaurants I've tried across Dallas, Kabab N Kurry has had the best Momos thus far. Its also the only place that has hand made peels, and thats pretty much what is giving it the edge. The peels are chewy and delicious, and the filling is very well seasoned. The Thali was very complete, and the curry was good. The chicken was a little over cooked but thats pretty common for thali curries as its not made to order. The Pakora was great. Super well seasoned and fresh out the fryer. Served with momo sauce too, which is a great paring. ”
“ We went here on the recommendation of a colleague and it was a great suggestion. It was a long drive for us but we were in Irving for something else, so off we went. The place is modest, maybe even a candidate for Guy's DDD. It's small with about 10 tables or so of different sizes. We came for the mo:mos and they did not disappoint. A mo:mo is a Nepalese dumpling (from the country of Nepal, northeast of India). I ordered the combo of sekuwa chicken and 5 chicken mo:mos and they were beyond phenomenal. I won't be able to think about any other food for weeks. Although I've only had mo:mos a couple of times, these were the best I ever had by far. The flavor and execution was excellent. Highly recommended. I would get those every time. The accompanying sekuwa chicken was also phenomenal. Sekuwa is an Indian spice that is used as a marinade. The flavor was deep, rich, complex, and sophisticated. The chicken thigh was tender and juicy. The sauce that it came with on the side was super spicy and totally unnecessary IMO. The wife and I also split a butter chicken dish and it was very flavorful. The chicken was super tender and not dried out. The naan bread seemed to be steamed as it lacked that crispy exterior but it was good nonetheless. The masala tea was very tasty and a perfect addition. Prices are very reasonable. Service was friendly and helpful. If we lived closer, I would eat here at least once a week. Every time we will be in Irving we are returning here for sure. ”
“ We arrived on Sunday and we were seated right away, we went looking for chicken momo. We arrived at a perfect time, only two tables were seated. By the time we left, it was full. We started with Veg Pakora, veggies fritters with dipping sauce. We got the Chicken momo and we added a plate of a common favorite, Butter chicken. Both dishes were delicious. Service was fast and friendly. ”
